For over seven decades, Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Kurundwad has been a beacon of high-quality education in rural India. With three high schools, one primary school, two Montessori, and a Residential school modeled on military patterns (Sainiki Pattern), we serve over 2,800 students, focusing on their comprehensive development. Our Sitabai Patwardhan High School, with a rich legacy of 99 years, not only excels academically but also shines in sports, boasting state-level champions in volleyball and semi-finalists in girls’ sports. Our students have represented India in international tournaments, making us proud on a global stage.
Rooted in the vision of the late H.H. Shrimant Chintamanrao Raghunathrao and further nurtured by H.H. Shrimant Bhalchandrarao Patwardhan, our institution’s journey from its inception in 1870 to the establishment of the high school in 1925, reflects a deep commitment to educational excellence.
